The first picture shows the damage a pileated woodpecker
can do on short notice. The second is a sad tale of a squirrel who managed to get
trapped in a "squirrel proof" feeder (he was released without harm to anything
but his ego). I sent a copy of this to the feeder manufacturer, but never did hear
anything back from them
